Aloha Everyone,
You may have noticed that we've been changing our store window displays since we've expanded with a new notion and artwork every month. First was PEACE, then LOVE, then SMILE and now for April it's KOKUA.
Kokua means mutual assistance, or pitching in, or helping out...
As we started getting the job done this morning, we had encouragement from folks at the bus stop, our retail neighbors and passerbys. Then we even had some real KOKUA by a young girl who just happened to be visiting our store and wanted to help with some painting (see video)...gives me goose-bumps!
Also this month, the Kokua Festival goes off on April 23 and 24 at the Waikiki Shell in support of the awesome Kokua Foundation. Check out more details here - www.kokuafestival.com
Mu‘umu‘u Heaven will be there with a booth again this year and we can't wait.
